Brontë Bell Chapel is a 170 x 245 mm (6 3/4 x 9 3/4 inch) acrylic mixed media painting on paper inspired by the birthplace village of the world famous Brontë sisters. The painting shows the famous cupola of the ruined Bell Chapel in Thornton, West Yorkshire, where Reverend Patrick Brontë was curate for a time.
The painting is presented in an acid-free mount (matt) ready for the frame of your choice. The surface of this painting is unique, with the expressive marks, shapes and beautiful imperfections of handmade art. Brontë Bell Chapel is satin UV varnished to protect and bring out its colours. It's initialled on the front and signed on the back. The overall size is 290 x 365mm (11 3/8 x 14 3/8 inches).
A percentage of the sale price will be donated to the Old Bell Chapel Action Group whose volunteers maintain the chapel's grounds.
