Shipping Policy

We want you to be satisfied and happy with your art purchase! If you have any questions, please contact us before placing your order.

We ship free of charge in England, Wales and Scotland. Note to customers in Northern Ireland: Since the UK left the European Union, it has become complex for small businesses to do business with customers in Northern Ireland. Regrettably we are not able to sell and ship to Northern Ireland at this time. 

We currently ship to the USA and Canada. If you are an international customer in another country outside the UK, USA and Canada, please contact us and we can provide a quote for shipping options and costs. If the actual cost of shipping is significantly more than quoted, we reserve the right to discuss this with you and to refuse the sale. Regrettably we are not able to sell to customers in the European Union at this time. 

Duties and taxes: the buyer is responsible for paying all import duties, taxes and other fees levied outside of the UK. USA customers: as of 2025, a tariff is payable on all art prints made in the UK. This tariff is calculated on the purchase price and is included in the shipping fee you pay to us. You will not be charged when you receive your print. Original, one-of-a-kind artworks are duty free and not subject to tariffs in the USA. Canada customers: the buyer is responsible for paying any GST and HST due upon delivery.

How is my original painting packaged and shipped?
Each painting is carefully packed using bubble wrap and sturdy cardboard to be as secure as possible in transit. 

How is my giclée print packaged and shipped?
Giclée art prints sized 11x14 inches or smaller are securely packaged in a cellophane sleeve with a backing board inside and enclosed in a sturdy flat mailer. Larger giclée art prints are carefully rolled in tissue paper and sent in a sturdy mailing tube. 

After placing my order, how soon will I receive my original painting?
It normally takes 3 working days to process, pack and ship original artworks. Within the UK, we send original paintings via Royal Mail using services that offer tracking, signature and proof of delivery. Most UK deliveries arrive within 1-3 days from time of dispatch depending on geographical region but please allow 5 working days. 

International shipping: we use express tracked and signed services that can take 5-7 working days to arrive. If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact us first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.

Please note: Before we ship your painting, we may request to speak with you by phone. This is to make sure there will be someone to receive your painting in a safe location and avoid any delivery confusion. We may also ask to speak with you after delivery to check you are happy with your new art.

After placing my order, how soon will I receive my giclée art print?
Giclée art prints are made to order and can take 5 working days to be produced and shipped. Once the printer has delivered prints to us, your print is packed and sent to you. Within the UK and to the USA and Canada, our prints are sent via Royal Mail using services that offer tracking, signature and proof of delivery. Most UK deliveries arrive within 1-3 days from time of dispatch depending on geographical region. Royal Mail advises that deliveries to the USA and Canada can take 5-7 working days.

If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact us first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.

How will I know when my item has shipped?
You will receive an email notification and tracking number to let you know that your order has been fulfilled and shipped. If you have any questions regarding shipping, please contact us. 

What are the shipping costs?
Delivery is currently free within the UK (excluding Northern Ireland). International shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

Occasionally we may offer a larger artwork that requires special handling as detailed in the product’s description. In this case, you will be invited to contact us before placing your order and we will provide a quote for shipping options and costs. If you do not confirm acceptance of the quoted shipping costs within 7 days (or if we do not receive payment for delivery within 7 days following your acceptance) we reserve the right to cancel the order. If you buy online first in order to secure the artwork, the shipping cost will be billed separately after agreement. 

Can I collect my artwork from your studio? 
If you are in the Leeds, West Yorkshire UK area, you can arrange to pick up your purchase from our studio. Please contact us before your purchase to make sure we can be available.

What if my original artwork or art print arrives damaged?
We want your purchase to arrive safe and undamaged so all items are carefully packed and wrapped for shipping. We ship our paintings and prints with reputable carriers but in the event that you receive an item that has been damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days with a photograph(s) showing the damaged item.

What if my order does not arrive?
If the shipping service states that your package has been delivered but you did not receive it, please check your confirmation email to make sure that you gave us the correct shipping address. We are not responsible for incorrect addresses supplied to us. If the shipping address is correct but you have not received your package as stated by the carrier, please contact us as soon as possible.
