Elie original seascape on paper

I painted this small sketch of the Fife shore on the east coast of Scotland during a sunny August day. I was looking toward the pretty fishing town of Elie, loving the curves of the beach and dark stone jetties. This sketch was made on art paper with acrylic gouache, a creamy opaque paint that I enjoy using for outdoor sketches.
